Ty Inc., the #1 Plush manufacturer in the world is seeking a full-time Data Entry Clerk for their Corporate Office in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering customer orders, maintaining the customer database, and imaging all documents in an accurate and timely manner.
In this position, you will be entering orders, input address changes and corrections, inactive and reactivate accounts, and setup new accounts into Sequel Time.
In this role, you will also process incoming and/or outgoing mail including, but not limited to daily pickup from the post office, stamping and sorting.
As Data Entry Clerk you will also act as relief Switchboard Operator.

Physical Requirements: • Regularly uses a keyboard to interact with computer system. • Regularly sits for extended periods of time. • Regularly required to communicate verbally and hear. • Regularly manipulates and operates machinery. • Regularly proofreads and/or reviews documents. • Regularly lifts or carries objects weighing up to 20 lbs. • Regularly pushes and/or pulls carts, dollies and the like. • Regularly stoops, bends, reaches and grasps objects.
Utilizes various mail handling services such as US mail, Federal Express, UPS, Best Messenger, etc.
Performs Quality Control imaging
Prepares all documents for the scanning process
Scans and indexes all documents into the imaging system in an accurate and timely manner
Reviews all scanned and indexed documents for quality control
Establishes permanent retention of information by indexing all documents
Maintains scanning equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning equipment
Assists in unloading vendor delivery trucks
Performs various copy projects
Basic Skills in MS Word and Excel in a Windows environment
